Food Access Survey
Your experience matters. Help us understand the real challenges students face with food access at Bellevue College—and shape solutions that work for everyone.
Why We're Asking
We're gathering feedback from Bellevue College students and faculty to better understand the current state of food access on campus. Your responses will help us identify specific challenges, highlight real student experiences, and build a stronger case for meaningful improvements.
The survey is anonymous, takes only a few minutes, and covers topics like your current food purchasing habits, barriers you face accessing affordable and healthy meals, dietary preferences and restrictions, and suggestions for improvements you'd like to see.
All responses are completely anonymous and confidential.
We only use aggregated data in our reports—individual responses are never shared.

How Your Responses Will Be Used
Identify specific needs: We'll analyze responses to pinpoint the most pressing food access challenges students face—whether that's cost, availability, dietary restrictions, or timing.
Highlight student voices: Real experiences and feedback will be woven into our proposal to show administration the human impact of these issues.
Inform recommendations: Your input directly shapes our proposals for healthier options, cultural food diversity, nutrition labeling, snack programs, and more.
Advocate for change: Aggregated survey data will be presented to Bellevue College administration, student government, and relevant committees to push for policy improvements and new programs.
Your Privacy
We take your privacy seriously. All survey responses are anonymous—we don't collect names, email addresses, or any identifying information unless you choose to share it. The data we gather is used only for this research project and advocacy efforts.
If you have any questions about the survey or how your data will be used, please don't hesitate to contact us.
